Internal Family Systems
IFS (Internal Family Systems) helps you connect with the different parts of yourself from a place of compassion and inner wisdom (the SELF). As these parts are heard and understood, they can release old burdens and restore greater balance, clarity, and peace within.
For many people, IFS offers a renewed sense of hope and the possibility of lasting healing.

The root of our distress:
Loss of connection with ourselves.
We often believe our problem stems from low self-esteem, a breakup, unemployment, or a difficult period of grief. However, the true source of our suffering lies in losing our connection with own SELF.

IFS begins with a simple and hopeful idea: we all have a Self. It is a wise, calm, and compassionate inner presence that has always been with us and can never be damaged, no matter what we have experienced.
Like the sun behind the clouds, your Self remains whole, even when it is temporarily hidden from view.

The goal of the IFS therapist is to guide you to reconnect with that pure essence, allowing you to heal from the inside out and regain Self leadership.
The Many Facets of Your Mind: Getting to Know Your “Parts:”
In addition to the SELF, our personality is made up of different “parts” or facets. Suffering happens when we identify so much with one part that we believe we are it, we blend with it.
Anger: When you get angry, it seems like your whole mind is flooded with rage, when in reality it is just a part of you manifesting that emotion to protect you from something deeper.
Ambivalence: Have you ever felt that “part of me wants to continue in this relationship, but another part doesn’t”?
